Industrial
Insulations engineering department works with customers
to find effective materials and design
solutions for insulation applications. As the
waterjet cutting system is computer controlled, designs
are drawn using a CAD program allowing for greater
precision and flexibility.
Applications
include ovens, furnaces, ranges, cooktops, fire control,
fireplaces, water heaters, garage doors, perishable
cargo, lighting fixtures, aircraft, ships, metal
buildings, motor vehicles, appliances, air conditioning
equipment, office partitions, acoustical walls and
ceilings, and speakers.
Through
partnership with the Johns Manville Technical Center,
Industrial Insulation can offer a variety of testing
of insulation materials including acoustical testing,
thermal testing, physical and fire testing,
microstructural analysis, as well as glass and chemical
analysis.
